However, the prevalence of Khanar Bachan is declining due to modernization and mechanization. Khanar Bachan was composed from the middle of the fourteenth century. The famous astrologer Khana has composed thousands of verses in keeping with the life and culture of the Bengalis.
Khana is Mihir's wife. Khan's father-in-law Varaha was a famous astrologer. Khan was born in Bangladesh and spent his life in Bengal. He was married to Mihir and lived in the 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. In the words written by Khan, there are instructive sentences of the Bengali way of life, agriculture, tree planting, animal husbandry and other activities. There are benefits to following these sentences.
Khanar Bachan is a rhyme based on agriculture. Written between the 8th and 12th centuries. According to many, these rhymes were written by a brilliant Bengali woman named Khana who is an expert in astronomy. However, there are differences. The words of innumerable mines have been associated with the life of the people of rural Bengal for ages. It is rumored that Khanar resided in the village of Deuli in the then Barasat subdivision of the twenty-four parganas. Even King Vikramaditya's meeting is said to be one of the Navaratnas.
